Recipe for pasta with mushrooms and chicken in cream sauce

Here is a simple recipe for pasta with mushrooms and chicken in cream sauce:

Ingredients:

Spaghetti or other pasta - 400 g
Chicken fillet - 300 g, diced
Champignons or other mushrooms - 200 g, chopped
Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
Garlic - 3 cloves, crushed
Butter - 3 tablespoons
Cream (liquid) - 1 cup
Grated parmesan - 1/2 cup
Salt and black pepper - to taste
Fresh parsley - for decoration

Instructions:

In a large saucepan, cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente, according to the instructions on the package.

Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken fillet until golden brown. Add salt and pepper to taste. Transfer the fried chicken fillet to a plate.

In the same pan, add another 1 tablespoon of butter. Fry the onion and garlic until soft.

Add the chopped mushrooms to the pan and cook until they become soft.

Return the fried chicken fillet to the pan with mushrooms and onions.

Pour over the cream and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let the sauce simmer for 5-7 minutes.

Add the grated parmesan and stir until a smooth sauce is obtained. If necessary, add salt and pepper to taste.

When the pasta is ready, drain and add to the sauce. Mix thoroughly so that the pasta is evenly covered with sauce.

Serve hot pasta sprinkled with fresh parsley for decoration.
